Sweet Afton/The Bonnie – During the colder months, they offer a delicious mulled cider that can be augmented with your liquor of choice. They also have some great seasonal drinks made with their house-made tonic or maple syrup.

60 Beans – This funky coffee shop serves a mean cup of Joe, but a highlight is their small tap line with all Singlecut beers. They serve flights of four and now have a happy hour!

Mosaic – For a more cozy and intimate night with your craft beer (with or without a date), try this local favorite. 

Sekund Sun – For an expertly made, sipping cocktail at Astoria prices, try this newer cocktail bar. They also serve fancy bar food and a boozy brunch.

Bourbon & Vine – This cocktail bar specializes in the darker spirits to warm your body and soul on a cold day, and often run food/drink specials. Try The Maple Smash or Dark Horse.

Astoria Brewhouse – For those looking to escape the cold with friends, look no further than this neighborhood bar. Buy a pitcher and make your way to the back room to set up by the roaring fireplace.

Yes, the weather is getting warmer, but you can enjoy hot beverages in any temperature. Here, we discuss our non-alcoholic favorites.

Il Bambino – Not only do they have great soup, but they have delicious hot chocolate. Try it plain or peanut butter flavored if you’re feeling indulgent.

Queens Kickshaw – Still the best pour-over coffee in Astoria. A great place to spend an hour or two savoring that delicious cup.

Martha’s – No surprise here. Martha’s is known for its hot chocolate, and you should get a slice of one of their delicious cakes to wash down with it.

Astoria Coffee – Their coffee is spot on, but don’t snooze on their excellent chai or matcha lattes with nut milk.

Kinship – Not only do they make a great latte, they also have Dough donuts to go with it. Or buy one of their bags of beans to take home – they supply from multiple roasters.

Il Bambino – They only have their special tomato soup in the wintertime, but it is not to be missed! It is served with a huge piece of flatbread with pesto as well.

Pye Boat Noodle – Try one of their signature noodle soup dishes for something that’s flavorful and filling on a cold day.

And some ramen options for those so inclined:
Tamashii Ramen (Broadway) – YOU CAN ORDER DELIVERY. Today is a good day to do that.

Ramen Okidoki (30th Ave) – Tiny place, but very friendly and efficient servers.

HinoMaru (Ditmars) – A bit more comfortable interior, and you can request toppings like corn or calamari to add to your chosen ramen dish.
